The renderings were created for an ideas competition sponsored by The Municipal Art Society of New York. The images show a new vision for Penn Station, featuring soaring atria supported by expressive, skewed columns. Pedestrian and retail activity streams from the street level into the underground track concourses, while a rooftop greenway offers additional recreational opportunities on a broader urban scale.
