Multiples

While the Street-Smart series intended to create immersive, miniature urban experiences, the Multiples series translates specific components of the work into mass-produced sculptures. By taking the small yet important pieces of my installations out of their larger context, I transform them into stand-alone objects for display. The multiples thus far have included an auto body repair shop, a roll-up security door, a burned-out Chevy Monte Carlo, a graffitied Jersey barrier, a miniature plaster cast of a Brooklyn brownstone facade, a miniature section of a Philadelphia row house, and a trash-strewn vacant lot. Distributed through the Fuse Works Multiples & Editions program, these items have been sold at MoMA PS1’s New York Art Book Fair and the New Museum gift shop.
