The client’s objective was to create a dynamic, mobile storefront to display a new line of portable USB stereos at a summer music festival. Using the product’s diagrid pattern as a design prompt, the proposed module features a repeating cut-and-fold operation. Triangular product display shelves emerge from the incisions in the walls of the metal shipping container, bringing kaleidoscopic patterns of light into an otherwise compact space.
